DIED

At his residence in Stewart county, Ten, on Thursday the 16th inst, Britain Bayliss Esq., in the 77th year of his age. Mr. B was a staunch Whig during the Revolutionary war, and as a volunteer in the Carolinas and Georgia, saw much hard service. He was an affectionate husband, a kind and indulgent father, a good master, and a benevolent neighbor. He lived a useful life and died "the death of the Righteous."
